报告题目：A Socio-cultural Approach to the Teaching of Academic Writing
主要内容：This motivational session will explore effective pedagogical practices for the university L2 academic writing classroom from a socio-cultural perspective. Key concepts such as pedagogical scaffolding, affordances, and prolepsis will be discussed with practical examples to dialogue journals, group conferences, and the writing process. These practices have helped beginning, intermediate, and advanced level university learners increase their accuracy, fluency, and confidence in writing compositions, ultimately leading to academic writing research articles - in the fields of linguistics, literature, and teaching English as a foreign language (TEFL). Thus, come and learn a few techniques for your teaching and to help your university students become proficient L2 writers.
